Kimble McHone

My name is Kimble McHone and I am starting my 31st year in the teaching and coaching profession. I have spent the last 17 years at Boerne High School where I am currently the Head boy's basketball coach and assist with football and softball. I also teach American Government and Economics. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a degree in Kinesiology. Before coming to Boerne, I coached at Uvalde High School and Snook High School. On December 5th of 2020 I won my 400th career game. My teams at BHS have won or shared eight district championships, won over 300 games and have advanced to the regional semi-finals twice (2010, 2018) and the regional finals once (2020). I love teaching and coaching in Boerne ISD and that is due to the wonderful students and parental support. I am the son of former San Antonio Spurs Head Coach, Mo McHone. I am married to Kari who is a first-grade teacher at Currington Elementary. We have two children, Griffin who is director of operations for the men's basketball team at Kennesaw State University and Ellie, who is a student at Texas A&M. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, watching college football and basketball and cheering on my Fighting Texas A&M Aggies!
