KRISTA LUX

Coach Lux has worked in Education for 27 years.  She started in Boerne ISD in 1999.  During that time, she has taught in elementary, middle, and high school.  Most recently she transferred over to Boerne High School in 2018 teaching English Language Arts teacher and coaching track.  Before that she taught three years at Boerne Middle School North teaching both English and reading in 6th and 7th grade and prior to that was a 5th grade ELAR teacher for 16 years.  Coach Lux has two daughters Tori, currently attending Texas A&M and Tana, who is a sophomore at Boerne High.  Coach Lux is engaged to Chris Bopp and they plan to marry in February of 2022. At that time, she will double in daughters to four.  She is also currently in graduate school working on her MEd. in clinical counseling.  Coach Lux has three years of experience coaching track and field and played softball and threw discus in high school and some in college.  She also has 12 years of experience teaching Yoga and assists the athletes at Boerne High when needed.  She is currently assisting with coaching the sprinters for the 2021 track season.
