MICHAEL STRONG

My name is Michael Strong, and I live here in the great town of Boerne! I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Education, Kinesiology. This is my third year coaching high school and I’ve been blessed to have been here at Boerne High School for all three years. I believe sports bring out the best in us and allows young people the opportunity to reach heights they didn’t know were possible. My favorite things about our Boerne kids are their willingness to be coached, their desire to compete, and the effort they put in day in and day out. My favorite memory would have to be our last game of district play against Fredericksburg in 2019. The stage was set as a district championship game and the winning team would be crowned the district champion. We came out to a flying start and scored a goal in the first five minutes in the game and never looked back. Seeing our boys celebrate their first outright district title since before the schools split was something I will never forget.
