My name is Sam Isenberg, and I am in my third year at Boerne High School. My wife, Callie, our son Emmitt, who we welcomed in September 2020, and I love being a part of the Boerne community. I went to Blanco High School and then to Texas State University where I earned a degree in Electronic Media. I have been coaching four years overall. I am the linebacker coach for the Hound football team and an assistant for the baseball team. I chose to become a coach because I had great coaches growing up that helped shape me into the man I am, and I wanted to have the opportunity to have the same impact on future athletes. I don't have to dig far for my favorite coaching memory, it came this year when we beat Calhoun to advance to the third round of the playoffs. The joy on the kids face and the heart they showed to earn that win was awesome! Go Hounds!
