ALEXIS
HARMS
Asst. Girls Soccer Coach
Coach Harms is going into her sixth year coaching and teaching at Boerne High School. She graduated from Texas Tech with a major in Public Relations. Coach Harms has been either playing or coaching soccer for the last two decades and has a desire to pass that passion on to the next generation. Over the last 6 years, Coach Harms and her husband, Stephen, have come to love the Boerne community and are excited to grow their family here. Their first child, a baby girl, is due in November of 2025 and they are so excited to see her become a future Greyhound!
While Coach Harms has been in the program, the BHS Girls Soccer team has made it to the State Tournament 3 times! Their first year in a 5A school district, the Greyhounds went on to the Playoffs and Coach Harms looks forward to the future of the program as it builds in the coming years as a 5A school. In the 2022-23 Season she was named the TASCO Assistant Coach of the year.
Off the field, Coach Harms teaches AP Literature and Composition, English III and Journalism. Some of her favorite coaching memories are tied to being able to be a witness to the young women these girls become and when they come back to visit to tell her all about what they have gone on to accomplish and achieve.
