BRETT SAWYER

This is my 24th year coaching and my 6th at Boerne HS. I got into coaching during college at Texas A&M when I was asked to help out a middle school program in Madisonville, TX. I fell in love with teaching kids something that impacted my life growing up and using sports to help impact people in a positive way. That hasn't diminished over the years of coaching, in fact, it has only grown stronger. After coaching stops at Madisonville, Richardson Berkner, Sweeny, Hutto, and Baytown Sterling, my family and I have finally found a place to call home and raise our kids with solid roots in the ground. My wife, Tanessa, is also a teacher at Boerne HS and our kids all attend school in the district. I have four daughters, Kinsley (16), and Keira (14) attend Boerne High School, Kamdyn (11) attends Boerne Middle School North, and Khloe (6) attends Curington Elementary. My favorite coaching memories are the times I get to see former players come back successful adults and fathers.
