Coach Chris Carter is currently in his sixth year as Boerne High School's head boys and girls cross country coach and head track coach. He has been teaching and coaching for 26 years, and has 19 years of head cross country coach and 12 years of head track coach experience. In that time he has captured 15 District titles, 5 area championships, and 4 region-runner up team tiltes and has had individual state champion as well as team state medlaist. He is USA Track and Field Level 1 certified. He ran high school track and cross country at Del Valle High School and ran collegiate track at Southwest Texas State University under Olympian Galina Bukharina. His wife Kaysi Carter is the physical education teacher at Curington Elementary in the district and their daughter Marlo is a future Greyhound.
